Health surveillance

Health surveillance is a prevention activity that is based on the set of medical acts aimed at protecting the health and safety of workers. Obviously, in order to carry out an accurate control, it is also necessary to have a deep knowledge of the organization of the work carried out in the Company, of the qualitative and quantitative aspects of exposure to occupational risk factors and of the reported effects on workers' health. The focus of health surveillance is ultimately the protection of the health and safety of workers This activity is implemented through: - assessment of the compatibility between health conditions and work tasks (suitability for the specific job) - verification of the effectiveness of the risk prevention measures implemented In the context of health surveillance, health protocols represent indispensable tools that must be weighed on specific risks, taking into account the general state of health of the worker. The final act is the issuance of the suitability judgment which must have the following characteristics: understanding of their job mastery of working methods knowledge of the workplace knowledge of prevention measures practice with the PPE provided by the D.L.
