Occupational Medicine

Occupational Medicine is that branch of medicine that aims to protect and promote the health of workers, support and increase their working skills by helping to establish and maintain a healthy and safe work environment for all. It also promotes the adaptation of work to the skills of workers, taking due account of their state of health.
Occupational medicine through the study of subjects such as ergonomics, work-related stress and other aspects of work is aimed at protecting the worker who is exposed to various risks such as:
- use of video terminals
- physical agents.
- biological agents.
- chemical agents
- psychosocial risks.
-For this purpose, the Employer of each Company, after evaluating the risks to which the workers of his company are exposed in the DVR, appoints the Occupational Doctor.
